
When easyJet told us they wanted to celebrate the opening of their Newcastle base, whilst honouring Geordie culture, there was only one brand that came to mind... First opened in Newcastle in 1939, Geordie institution Greggs.
For one day only, we gave passengers on inaugural flights from the base complementary sausage rolls; as well as a range of destination-inspired dips, the perfect pairing for the baked good! Did someone say flakes on a plane?
We additionally took to the streets of Newcastle for the entire week of the opening - taking our rolls and dips to key landmarks and sites for members of the public to try.
The campaign coverage soared in. Landing 394 pieces in the likes of the Daily Mail, Metro, LadBible and Joe.co.uk; as well as broadcast coverage on Capital, Heart and Virgin radio and social hits on the Metro and TikTok - and much much more!
